About UsOur mission is to significantly increase the quality of youth soccer in Utah by decreasing the cost of quality training by qualified coaches.
We also strive to give athletes a proper foundation so that soccer becomes a life long passion. All of our coaches have participated in upper-level competition, so they know what it takes to get there. |
Why choose Utah Elite Soccer?
We are currently the fastest growing soccer camp in the state - and here are some reasons why!
Foundation in FunEven though our coaches are upper-level competitors, our camps are centered in teaching the foundational skills of the sport and of course - Fun! Nearly 70% of children are dropping out of sports before they are 13. When asked why they were quitting the number one answer given was because it wasn't fun anymore. We understand that at this age and level children play soccer to enjoy themselves and to make friends. Our hope is to instill a passion of the sport that our players will have the rest of their lives. We don't care if they are the captain of RSL or the Royals; or if they just enjoy playing in a work or community league to have fun and stay fit. The goal is a lifelong love of the game!

Fantastic ValueWhen I played competitive soccer in Utah County over 15 years ago I paid around $300 for the season. That covered uniforms, league registration, ref fees, and anything else. Our coaches were volunteers - former college and professional players who loved the sport and wanted to pass their passion onto the next generation. Fast forward to today, the families of young players are paying THOUSANDS of dollars to play in the same league and level that I played in. Paid coaches, trainers, and expensive club fees are the norm. Many of these coaches never played beyond high school themselves, and some of them never played the sport a day in their life! Our goal is to offer quality training that anyone can afford.

Busy Summer SchedulesOur camps are not long hours like many others. We understand that summers are very busy for your family! Our shorter camps allow families to accomplish other plans during the day.
|
Correct Training DurationUnited State Youth Soccer has proscribed maximum training lengths by age group. We are the only soccer camp in the area that complies with these directives. Over training can lead to burn-out, injury, and children quitting the sport.

ProfessionalismAll of our staff were players long before they were coaches. Some are still competing at the college and professional level and just enjoy coaching with us in their off seasons!

SafetyOur coaches are all subjected to background checks, certified concussion awareness through United States Youth Soccer, and are trained in Utah Elite Soccer's Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for:

Coach to Player RatioMany of our competitors who do summer camps have around 1 coach to anywhere from 20-100 players. They have designed programs that can facilitate large numbers and training is accomplished with minimal direction and instruction from the coaches. I attended many of these camps as a young player. Our camps never exceed a 1 coach to 8 players ratio. This allows us to train a variety of skill levels at the same time. If one child is struggling in an area they can easily receive one on one direction from one of the coaches.

SummaryWe are a group of coaches who have a lifelong passion for the beautiful game. We want to pass that on to as many children as we can, and our business model allows us to do that in the most efficient, effective, and economical manner possible. Whether your child is just trying the sport out; or has years of previous experience, we will help them improve.
